The Russian squad closed the match out in the last round of regulation on Dust2, the series' decider map.

FORZE have taken another scalp in the FunSpark ULTI Europe Final after defeating Virtus.pro in their opening match with a 2-1 victory over Complexity to secure a spot in the tournament's upper bracket final

The squad led by Andrey "⁠Jerry⁠" Mekhryakov started the series off by winning their pick, Inferno, but were equalized on Mirage before claiming victory on Dust2, where they brought a 5-10 deficit at the half back to a victory in the last round of regulation.

FORZE will now have some time off until Saturday, when they are slated to play the winner of Dignitas vs. Extra Salt in the upper bracket final, while Complexity have been knocked down to a stacked lower bracket where they will be fighting the winner of the BIG vs. Evil Geniuses series next.

forZe tallied another upset, taking down Complexity in the UB semi-final

FORZE won the first pistol round on the attacking side of Inferno, after which a back-and-forth tussle ensued as Complexity tried to get on a roll by winning the forcebuy to build an economy on the CT side, but the Russian squad were able to get a hold on the half, winning the final seven rounds to go 10-5 before switching sides. Complexity made a good case for a possible comeback on the attack, winning five of the first six rounds and getting within one round of tying things up, but once again FORZE kicked into gear and ran away to close their map pick out 16-10.

Jerry and company took the lead on Mirage, taking an early 4-0, but this time around Complexity came alive on the attack and were able to be the ones setting the pace going up 7-4 before Valentin "⁠poizon⁠" Vasilev kept his team going with an ace that included a 1vs4 clutch in what ended up being an 11-4 half. The two teams then split the difference in the first ten rounds of the second half, with Complexity closing the map out 16-9.

Dust2 started out with the Russian squad once again taking the first pistol round, and although the two teams sparred for control early on it was finally Complexity who were able to impose their will on the attack reaching double digits at the half. Complexity won a 2vs4 in the second pistol round to keep momentum going, but FORZE struck back viciously on the attack by winning 10 rounds in a row, and although Complexity tried to push the map to overtime in the final rounds they were shut down as Evgenii "⁠FL1T⁠" Lebedev and company secured the map and series.
